Job summary

DPProfessionals is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense industry.

Work Location: Onsite in Englewood, CO. Duration: 12 months. Terms: W2 Contract. US citizen; must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.

The ideal candidate will design, evaluate, and certify cutting-edge products, analyzing metallic and composite structures and participating in the full product lifecycle from concept to fielding.

Qualifications

• BS degree in ME/Aerospace/Civil engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Advanced knowledge of Static and/or Dynamic Analyses.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and certify aerospace products and services.
• Cover wide range from payloads to space systems.
• Examine complex metallic and composite structures.
• Develop new products and processes through product lifecycle.
