Job summary

DPP is seeking a Structural Engineer III for an onsite role in Plano, TX. The 12-month W2 contract requires a US citizen able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

You will support design, analysis, and certification of advanced aerospace and defense structures, with experience in static analyses and FEA tools. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in structural engineering, a related engineering degree, and the ability to communicate across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil or related field.
• 6+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
• Ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Experience with Static Analyses and engineering simulations.

Responsibilities

• Support design and analysis of advanced metallic and composite structures.
• Perform detailed structural analysis and identify improvements.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
