Job Title: Senior/Junior Structural Engineers SE, PE

Full Time - Hybrid/Remote/Onsite

Note: Applicants hailing from the following states only apply. (CA, NV, WA, OR, AZ)

Salary: Junior SE (PE license not required) $90K- $120K Annually

Senior PE - $120k - $160K Annually.

Our client provides structural engineering services for a variety of projects including e-commerce business parks, distribution centers, office buildings, sound stages, parking structures, and others throughout the United States. We are made up of 60+ employees and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-growing team.

We are looking for full-time, remote Structural Engineers with experience in:

• Concrete and steel structures
• Mass Timber
• Seismic Retrofit
• Parking Structures
• School/Community College
• Health Care facilities
• High-rise

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop structural designs and details for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures
• Perform structural analysis of new and existing structures for gravity and lateral (wind and seismic) load conditions
• Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, and details conforming to client, regulatory, and industry standards
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil drawings to develop design and construction documents
• Use computer design and analysis programs including Ram Structural, Ram Concept, ETABS, SAFE, MathCAD, spColumn, Enercalc, Bluebeam
• Support and perform field services including answering RFIs, providing field sketches, performing structural observations, and approving shop drawings
• Coordinate with other engineers, interns, CAD technicians, and disciplines
• Attend coordination meetings with external consultants and clients

Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or similar field
• 5+ years of related experience
• P.E. required; S.E. preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, or wood design
• Knowledge of the International Building Code and referenced standards (ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318, etc.)
• Familiarity with codes applicable to major building projects in California
• California PE/SE license is a plus
• Experience in various structural materials and project types
• Experience in Tilt-Up is a plus
• Ability to manage small to large projects and teams
