Senior Civil Engineer - Industrial

Location: Remote

An established engineering consultancy with a national footprint is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer, Water / Wastewater, to support the design and delivery of water infrastructure and resilience-focused projects win the Private Sector. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who ensures successful project execution, ensuring quality, mentoring project teams, and driving excellence in design and delivery from concept through construction.

Position Summary:

You will be responsible for planning, design, and implementation of treatment and conveyance solutions for private sector clients. Your work will ensure compliance with environmental regulations, optimize operational efficiency, and support sustainability goals. This role offers technical leadership & responsibilities across diverse projects in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design industrial water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Manage small to mid-sized projects, including budgets and schedules.
• Provide technical leadership and solve complex engineering problems.
• Support proposals, client meetings, and contract discussions.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with consultants.
• Participate in industry events and travel as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• PE license
• 10 + years of experience within W/WW.
• Experience designing wastewater treatment plants.
• Demonstrate experience with management and design of medium sized projects including budgeting, scheduling, contracts and quality.
