Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with strong high-rise building experience to support the design and development of large-scale residential and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural design, analysis, coordination, and construction support for mid-rise to high-rise buildings. This role will focus on structural design development, technical coordination, and supporting projects through design and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structural design development for high-rise residential and mixed-use projects.
  • Perform structural analysis and design calculations for steel, concrete, and composite systems.
  • Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and consultants throughout project phases.
  • Review and respond to shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and construction-related questions.
  • Ensure structural designs comply with applicable codes, including NYC Building Code, IBC, and industry standards.
  • Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection efforts with project teams.
