Job summary

The Quest Organization in New York, NY seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to lead high-rise residential and mixed-use developments, focusing on structural analysis, design coordination, and construction support.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, MEPs, contractors, and consultants, reviewing shop drawings and RFIs, and ensuring NYC Building Code compliance. BIM coordination and foundation design support are also required.

Qualifications

15+ years of structural engineering experience.
Extensive experience with high-rise building design and construction.
Proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, or similar structural analysis software.
Strong knowledge of concrete and steel structural systems, NYC Building Code, and BIM coordination.
Excellent project management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
PE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design for high-rise residential and mixed-use developments.
Perform structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, and composite systems.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and consultants throughout all project phases.
Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction.
Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code and applicable structural design standards.
Participate in BIM coordination, site visits, value engineering, and construction administration.
Support foundation design coordination and resolve field issues.
