Conrad Consulting is partnering with a respected structural engineering consultancy in New York City to hire a Structural Project Manager. The role involves taking ownership of building projects from concept through construction, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with engineers, architects, and clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in structural engineering with project management exposure and is proficient in ETABS, RAM, SAFE, and other major design tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience with PM exposure.
• PE license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• Strong experience in steel, concrete, masonry, and foundations design.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple structural engineering projects from proposal through construction.
• Lead structural design for commercial, residential, mixed-use, institutional, and high-rise buildings.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables.
• Review calculations, drawings, and reports for quality and accuracy.
• Serve as primary client contact with architects and design teams.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress to clients and leadership.
• Mentor and oversee junior engineers and designers.
• Perform site visits and provide construction support.
• Ensure projects meet codes and industry standards on time and within budget.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced structural engineer who has already stepped into a project management role and is looking to take ownership of exciting building projects from concept through construction. You'll work alongside talented engineers, architects, and clients while managing project delivery, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

What You'll Be Doin
