Qualifications

• Excellent communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for commercial, residential, mixed-use, and high-rise building projects.
• Develop and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and design reports.
• Oversee junior engineers and coordinate with architects, MEP teams, and contractors.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client expectations from concept through construction.
• Perform site visits, structural assessments, and construction administration tasks.
• Ensure designs comply with Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade requirements, and all relevant standards.
• Present technical findings and serve as a primary point of contact for clients and permitting agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for commercial, residential, mixed-use, and high-rise building projects.
• Develop and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and design reports.
• Oversee junior engineers and coordinate with architects, MEP teams, and contractors.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client expectations from concept through construction.
• Perform site visits, structural assessments, and construction administration tasks.
• Ensure designs comply with Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade requirements, and all relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, and foundations, including coastal/wind load design.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
