Job summary

Kahuna USA LLC is seeking a Designer III, Structural in Broomfield, CO. You will perform advanced structural design for midstream oil and gas projects, focusing on foundations and steel systems, with limited direction from senior designers and engineers.

You will lead the structural design portions of projects, model in 3D, and coordinate with other design teams while maintaining documentation and confidentiality. Prior CAD experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter with initiative and work with guidance from experienced designers.
• Detail oriented; precise and organized in handling drawings.
• Broad computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, CADworx Structure.
• Typically 3–6 years of progressive design experience; 2 years minimum.
• Community college and drafting/CAD courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex foundation and steel designs for midstream projects.
• Review drawings and markup to reflect functional design with guidance.
• Perform complex 3D modeling using pre-developed tools.
• Independently lead structural design portions of projects.
• Coordinate with other design teams to ensure information flow.
• Prepare drawings for delivery with security and confidentiality.
• Operate Navisworks Freedom/Manage/Simulate and lead model reviews.
