Job summary

Kahuna USA LLC is seeking a Lead Designer to lead piping design on large-scale projects, including cryogenic gas processing and oil treating facilities. You will oversee complex 3D piping, drive design quality, and coordinate across multi-discipline teams.

You will mentor designers, ensure drawings meet standards and budgets, and contribute to tool development to improve efficiency and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior-level piping design leadership experience for large-scale facilities.
• Strong expertise with CADWorx Plant and 3D piping design.
• Proficient in Navisworks, AutoCAD, and P&ID development.
• Excellent mentoring and collaboration across design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping design efforts on cryogenic gas processing, amine treating, and related facilities.
• Develop and review 3D models, drawings, and deliverables to meet standards and schedules.
• Mentor designers at all levels and provide technical guidance.
• Coordinate with engineers and other design teams to ensure project alignment.
• Lead development of group standards and tools; improve team efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with ASME codes and project specifications.
