Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Drafter to contribute to complete design work and assist in larger projects. This role emphasizes drafting under minimal supervision, adherence to CAD standards, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of civil/structural drafting experience, an Associate degree in engineering technology or CAD drafting, and proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting is required.
• Certification is not required at this level.
• 4+ years of relevant industrial civil/structural drafting and design experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft civil/structural plans under minimal supervision.
• Assist in design of civil/structural assignments with supervision.
• Maintain department design and drafting standards.
• Review project scope and design criteria on assignment.
• Prepare accurate civil/structural construction documents from vendor drawings.
• Mentor entry level teammates.
