Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Engineer Structural Design / Sr. Principal Engineer Structural Design. The position is based in Oklahoma City, OK; Palmdale, CA; or Whiteman AFB, MO.

The role requires strong aerospace structural design experience with CATIA V5 or Unigraphics NX. Clearances and SA access are prerequisites, with robust MRB and cross-disciplinary coordination expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 5+ years of aerospace structural design experience OR MS with 3+ years of related experience.
• Senior Principal level requires 8+ years in aerospace structural design or MS with 6+ years or PhD with 0 years.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DOD Secret or Top Secret clearance and program access.

Responsibilities

• Support program goals and schedule in a fast-paced team environment.
• Develop and evaluate design solutions consistent with program objectives and standards.
• Provide MRB dispositions for primary and secondary structures.
