Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer-Structural to support drainage and wastewater CIP projects. The role involves complex structural design, calculations, and coordination under SPU’s CIP Design Section.

Requires a PE license in Washington, a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, and at least five years of civil engineering experience. Hybrid work schedule offered with field/office duties.

Formación

• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Washington.
• Current Washington State driver's license or evidence of mobility.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering calculations for structural elements across CIP projects.
• Design/review of engineered shoring for pipe and structure installation.
• Prepare design drawings and technical specifications and stamp them.
• Support field staff with asset evaluation and onsite direction during construction.
• Review deliverables from consultants and coordinate SPU QA/QC for structural review.
