Job summary

Hord Coplan Macht, Inc. seeks a strong Structural/Architectural Engineer for our Philadelphia, Lancaster, or Pittsburgh office to contribute to all phases of project design and construction.

You will develop design concepts, prepare construction documents and specifications, communicate with clients and consultants, and participate in contract administration. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors in Architectural or Civil engineering with a structural emphasis, 8+ years of experience, and a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Civil engineering with a Structural Emphasis.
• 8+ years of experience in the Architectural field.
• Professional Licensure required.
• Understanding of building materials and their use and application in building design.
• Thorough working knowledge of Revit and either RAM or RISA design software.
• Majority of work experience in commercial building design, preferably in the educational, municipal, and/or public safety studios.
• Ability to sketch and draw to convey ideas and concepts to those with whom they work.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts for projects and support construction document production.
• Produce specifications and interact with clients and consultants.
• Assist with contract administration and project coordination.
