HCM is a collaborative design firm working at the intersection of inspiration and impact. Our team is driven by a shared vision to design for real, creating spaces that amplify the power of place and invigorate the communities they anchor. Guided by a process rooted in listening, we partner closely with clients across industries and around the country to uncover opportunities, shape communities, and design environments that leave a lasting legacy.
Our Philadelphia, Lancaster, or Pittsburgh office is looking for a strong Structural/Architectural Engineer. We are seeking a new team member who is a self-starter, communicates well, desires involvement in all aspects of project design and construction, and has a strong desire to engage in a collaborative workplace environment. Your day-to-day duties will touch on many aspects of design office operations: developing design concepts, producing construction documents and specifications, interacting with clients and consultants, and contract administration. You must be organized, versatile, and a willing and avid participant in our office culture.
We believe there’s power in purpose. Ours is helping people realize their potential. Our team is creative, entrepreneurial, responsible, sensitive, and diverse. And while our knowledge and experiences span worlds, we care most deeply about the work we do together. Beyond designing for clients, we volunteer at schools, play broomball, plant trees, climb mountains, prepare meals for families at hospitals, and so much more. Ours is a culture where ingenuity meets authenticity, and we couldn’t be more proud of it.
