Job summary

Redwire Space is seeking an experienced Structural Analyst to join our multi-disciplinary team in Littleton, CO, or Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on satellite and launch vehicle structural technologies, requiring strong FEMAP/NASTRAN analysis and collaboration with design, thermal, and systems teams.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in mechanical/aerospace structures, familiarity with ABAQUS/ANSYS, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of relevant experience.
FEA experience with FEMAP and NASTRAN preferred.
Ability to obtain and hold a security clearance.
Willingness to travel to support milestone reviews and testing.

Responsibilities

Develop system-level static and dynamic finite element models using FEMAP/NASTRAN.
Perform detailed stress analysis of metallic and composite structures.
Collaborate with mechanical design, thermal, and systems engineering teams to optimize solutions and meet requirements.
Review designs and drawings, providing actionable feedback to the Mechanical Design team.
Prepare and present technical reports, results, and design review materials.
