PAE Government Services Inc. is seeking a Structural Analyst for NASA/JSC-related work in Houston. You will support structural analyses on flight hardware, ground/test equipment, and perform hand calculations to assess margins of safety.

The role involves building and validating finite element models, applying loads, and post-processing results. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, typically 5–10 years of related experience.
• Experience performing structural analysis on NASA hardware.
• Ability to produce clear structural analysis reports and defend results.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Support structural analysis tasks for NASA/JSC customer in Structures Branch.
• Perform classical hand calculations and determine Margins of Safety.
• Create Finite Element Models using PATRAN, FEMAP, or MSC/MARC.
• Apply loads to FEMs and post-process results; calculate Margins of Safety.
• Prepare structural analysis reports and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues.
• Assess parts/assemblies per NASA-STD-5019 and NASA-STD-5020.
• Familiar with NASA standards and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
