Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer III in Colorado to design, analyze, and certify structural systems for aerospace applications. The role requires owning technical packages as a Responsible Engineer and mentoring less experienced engineers while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will perform hand calculations and finite element analyses, apply industry standards, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of related experience with structural analysis and RE responsibilities.
• Ability to solve wide-ranging technical problems imaginatively and practically.
• Experience leading discrete technical packages as a Responsible Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems using hand calculations and FEA.
• Own technical packages as a Responsible Engineer and mentor others.
• Collaborate across disciplines and communicate with external stakeholders.
• Ensure technical excellence and project alignment through rigorous analysis.
