Job summary

Busey Bank seeks a Stress Testing Manager to lead enterprise loan portfolio stress testing and analytics. You will leverage Moody's platforms and in-house models to assess risk under adverse conditions, collaborating with Credit, Finance, Treasury, and ERM teams to ensure governance and regulatory alignment.

The role requires strong quantitative modeling, Python/SQL skills, and the ability to present complex results to senior leadership within a Second Line of Defense framework.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quantitative risk analytics, stress testing, forecasting, model development, or portfolio analytics.
• Experience developing and implementing statistical or predictive models in banking, financial services, consulting, or risk management.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, econometrics, forecasting, and quantitative risk methodologies.
• Experience working with large datasets and communicating complex findings to senior leadership.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise loan portfolio stress testing programs and maintain third-party solutions like Moody's platforms.
• Develop proprietary stress testing methodologies for loan segments and design scenario analyses.
• Translate macroeconomic assumptions into expected portfolio outcomes and communicate findings to management.
• Perform data analysis and model development using Python, SQL, and other tools.
• Maintain documentation, governance, and validation materials for models.
