Job summary

Averro is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to perform structural joint configuration evaluation and optimization in support of ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1 and related divisions. You will collaborate with design leads and analysis engineers to evaluate issues, perform analyses, and provide actionable feedback to design teams.

Required is a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5–10 years of relevant experience; PE is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience and expertise in ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1 and high temperature applications.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant equivalent program from an accredited university.
• Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience. PE desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural joint configuration evaluation and optimization.
• Perform non-record evaluations of various configurations to assess modifications or alternatives.
• Collaborate with design leads and analysis engineers to evaluate issues and provide feedback to design teams.
• Design Verification of ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1 and Division 5 stress, creep and fatigue analysis.
