Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering with mechanical/aero focus.
• 8+ years in aerospace stress engineering.
• Skilled in interpreting drawings and specs.
• Experience with metallic/composite airframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform static and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and/or composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment.
• Develop designs meeting program requirements for lightest, lowest cost, highest quality products within schedule and budget.
• Derive loads, create, extract and distribute internal loads, and optimize weight and stiffness using FE tools.
• Review and disposition non-conforming conditions on primary parts, assemblies and final product.
