Job summary

Corporate Solutions Tech seeks a senior hands-on engineer to own a data and event backbone for a live system. You will build streaming and data-modeling solutions, ensuring secure, scalable delivery of live and historical data with idempotent methods.

The role emphasizes OLTP-style data modeling, serverless-first cloud-native work, and Python expertise. You will be deeply involved in security, testing, and containerized development to maintain data integrity.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years hands-on, recent, personally-built and delivered work they can speak to in depth.
• Streaming / event-processing depth: partitioning, ordering, replay semantics.
• Strong SQL and relational data modeling; read layer is relational.
• Object storage and lakehouse depth, with strong security posture.
• Streaming-to-object-store integration with idempotent / exactly-once delivery.
• Data-plane security: tenant/row-level isolation, encryption in transit, and object-storage security features.
• AI-assisted development fluency and verification of AI-generated code and tests.
• Strong Python proficiency; serverless-first cloud-native approach; container fluency.
• Ownership and delivery discipline; clear communication; maintain core consistency when lead is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the data backbone of a live system, with hands-on development instead of advisory work.
• Architect and implement streaming-to-object-store flows and secure data paths.
• Ensure data safety with tenant isolation and encryption in transit/rest.
• Design robust tests for replay, projection vs log, idempotency, and cross-tenant isolation.
• Lead with AI-assisted tooling to verify generated code and tests and catch edge cases.
