DTN is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to strengthen ingestion, quality, and governance across enterprise platforms. You will advance batch and real-time streaming data architecture while enabling stakeholders to leverage trusted data solutions.

The role requires expert data engineering with cloud technologies, streaming data, and software development, and a passion for building high‑quality pipelines and scalable data platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data engineering experience with batch and streaming pipelines or 2+ years as software engineer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trusted data sets and services from complex sources to support customers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop modern batch and streaming data integration and management solutions.
• Build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines ensuring quality and scalability.
• Architect and manage high-throughput event streaming using Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Troubleshoot data infrastructure issues and optimize environments.
• Improve data management standards and architectural patterns across teams.
• Document data engineering standards and best practices for adoption.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in solutions.
• Automate processes to reduce complexity and improve efficiency.
• Develop reference architectures and documentation for data acquisition, transformation, storage, and analytics.
