Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategy for IH&S, reporting to the VP of Business Development. The role is remote and requires directing strategic initiatives across optics, fluidics, and related business units.

You will craft market-backed strategies, guide portfolio decisions, and partner with Corporate Development to pursue growth opportunities. Strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, science or related field.
• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in strategy, general management, commercial leadership, corporate development, transformation, or related role.
• Background in health and science technology, health and science markets, manufacturing or another complex B2B environment.
• Experience in top-tier strategy consulting and hands-on implementation is helpful and expected.

Responsibilities

• Formulate differentiated strategies grounded in market, customer, competitor, technology and financial insight.
• Translate analysis into where-to-play, how-to-win, capability, and resource allocation decisions.
• Turn strategy into execution with sequenced workplans, owners, milestones and KPIs.
• Lead cross-business initiatives from definition through implementation.
• Drive cross-business growth through connected capabilities across IH&S value chain.
