Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation seeks a Senior Strategic Advisor to lead strategic frameworks and action plans for major initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field required.
• Seven years of experience in management, analysis and/or planning operations in a large complex organization.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience per JHU equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and refine strategic frameworks and programming for civic engagement and public sector innovation.
• Advance learning and training by creating methods, playbooks, and implementation tools.
• Oversee production of knowledge products (e.g., case studies) to contribute to the field.
• Represent the Center to external stakeholders including governments, philanthropy, nonprofits, and academia.
• Coordinate with JHU centers and external partners to align agendas and support collaborations.
• Manage external consultants and partners supporting curriculum development and related workstreams.
• Translate research into actionable strategy and programmatic recommendations.
• Stay current with research and practice to identify collaboration opportunities.
