Job summary

Impellam Group is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to lead assessment of opportunities, internal supply chains, and markets, and to develop, execute, and institutionalize the sourcing strategy.

The role involves strategy development, RFQ/RFP execution, supplier negotiations, and post-award supplier management, with a focus on complex, high-value categories and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5–10 years of supply chain experience.
• Experience in strategic sourcing and contract management.
• Knowledge of power plant equipment and utility projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies for complex, high-value materials, equipment or services.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs; analyze supplier responses; award contracts.
• Negotiate with suppliers to drive cost savings and process efficiencies.
• Lead change management for sourcing initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships post-award and settle issues.
• Oversee alliance and master service agreements; category management.
• Mentor and cross-train sourcing personnel.
