Athenahealth India is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead end-to-end initiatives across technology, software, SaaS, IT services, and professional services. You will apply a disciplined 5–7 step sourcing process, conduct market benchmarking, and develop cost models to inform executive decisions.

You will partner with Finance, Legal, and IT to realize measurable savings and improved commercial outcomes, while driving continuous improvement of sourcing methodologies and playbooks.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Finance, Business or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, ideally technology and professional services.
• Strong financial, analytical, and commercial acumen.
• Advanced knowledge of cost structures, pricing models, contracts, and category economics.
• Experience with sourcing tools, procurement systems, and analytics platforms.
• Deep expertise in strategic sourcing methodologies (5–7 step process).
• Advanced capability in market benchmarking, white-sheeting, and should-cost modeling.
• Strong negotiation strategy development and execution skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership communication skills.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives using a structured 5–7 step sourcing methodology from intake to award recommendation.
• Develop category sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities and enterprise standards.
• Translate business requirements into sourcing strategies balancing cost, risk, speed, and value.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to understand cost drivers and opportunities.
• Develop white-sheeting and should-cost models to decompose pricing and validate proposals.
• Design and manage RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and lead bid analyses and negotiations.
• Partner with Legal and business stakeholders to drive negotiations and approvals.
• Collaborate with Finance for ROI analysis, TCO modeling, and business case development.
