Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Procurement professional to lead sourcing strategies, drive supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management across medium to high-dollar requirements. The role supports the Gas & Building Services procurement team in delivering value and compliance.

The right candidate has 5–8 years of strategic sourcing experience, advanced negotiation skills, and strong analytical abilities, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five to eight years related experience in strategic sourcing/procurement.
• Experience with purchasing, negotiating/drafting contracts, contract management, supplier development and supplier qualification/certification.
• Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), Six Sigma, Lean, Process or Project Management certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drives cross-functional sourcing through supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract implementation.
• Assists in applying best practices in procurement processes and ensures policy compliance.
• Leads complex sourcing projects to mitigate risk and drive cost savings.
• Develops and monitors supplier performance and SRM scorecards.
