Job summary

Eversource Energy in Massachusetts seeks a Procurement Specialist to drive sourcing strategies, manage bid processes, and negotiate purchases for medium dollar/complex spend. You’ll represent the group, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and collaborate with internal partners to optimize value.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in strategic sourcing, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong negotiation and data analysis skills; CPC/PM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• 3–5 years of procurement/sourcing experience.
• Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) or Six Sigma/Lean certification desirable.
• Strong negotiation and data analysis skills.
• Experience with RFPs and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting process for medium value contracts.
• Conduct RFPs, negotiate terms, and manage supplier relationships.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies and monitor KPIs.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with policies.
