Job summary

Eversource Energy in the United States is seeking a Senior Sourcing Agent to drive procurement strategies for medium-dollar, complex purchases and lead cross-functional sourcing with stakeholders.

You will manage RFPs, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with Legal and end-users to optimize supplier performance. A Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA preferred and strong negotiation/leadership skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Five (5) plus years related procurement experience.
• Strong negotiating, contract management and leadership skills.
• Advanced sourcing and procurement best practices knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drives sourcing processes including supplier evaluation, bid management and contract implementation.
• Prepares RFPs, reviews bids and negotiates with suppliers for indirect spend.
• Collaborates with Legal to review terms and ensure robust SOWs.
• Coordinates with end users to manage contract end dates and transitions.
• Identifies supply and quality issues and leads corrective actions.
