Responsibilities

• Acts as trusted advisor to client groups on sourcing and contract management and compliance.
• Leads cross-functional teams through sourcing stages: evaluation, negotiation, contract implementation.
• Prepares RFPs, reviews bids, and negotiates with suppliers for indirect spend.
• Improves supply base capabilities and implements best sourcing practices.
• Defines and prioritizes requirements with a view to long-term strategy.
• Stays updated on supply market trends and supplier economics.
• Plans sourcing events to manage contract end dates and transitions.
• Manages contract administration and coordination with end users and suppliers.
• Provides consultation to resolve contract disputes and oversees lifecycle management.
• Negotiates and executes medium-dollar/complex contracts.
• Collaborates with Legal on terms and Statements of Work.
• Ensures development of sources to support purchases; conducts supplier visits as needed.
• Identifies supply and quality issues and leads corrective actions.
