Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Analyst for a Milwaukee area client in heavy mobile equipment. You will lead sourcing for new product development and current products, developing category and supplier strategies, guiding cross-functional teams and driving cost reductions.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, expertise in strategic sourcing, and strong negotiation skills. Open to travel 20–30%.

Qualifications

Expertise in strategic sourcing and commodity management.
5+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
Exposure to multiple commodities such as castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics.
Knowledge of master supplier agreements and cost breakdown methodologies.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Understanding of timeline development and cost structures.
BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supplier relationships.
Manage $30–$50 million commodity spend and develop sourcing strategies.
Lead negotiations and execute master supplier agreements.
Analyze purchase volumes to drive supplier consolidation and cost reduction.
Lead supplier selection for Global and Regional strategies for current products and New Product Development.
Mentor and train new Sourcing team members.
