Qualifications

• Expertise in strategic sourcing and commodity management.
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Exposure to commodities such as castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics.
• Working knowledge of master supplier agreements and cost breakdown methodologies.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Understand timeline development and cost structures.
• BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Open to 20% to 30% travel.
• APICS Certification would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supplier relationships while leveraging deep sourcing expertise.
• Responsibilities include managing $30 to $50 million commodity spend, developing sourcing strategies, and collaborating with key cross-functional teams.
• Lead negotiations and execute master supplier agreements.
• Analysis of purchase volumes within category to drive supplier consolidation, cost reduction, product portfolio/supplier capability efficiency.
• Manage quoting and negotiations.
• Lead supplier selection process for both Global and Regional strategies on both current product and New Product Development components.
• Mentor, coach, and train new Sourcing team members.
