Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Expert Procurement Project Lead (PPL) to direct procurement for its most complex, high-value customer projects. This senior role leads procurement delivery, develops strategies, and collaborates with Project Management, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project-based procurement experience on complex projects.
• Proven track record in large-scale, strategic procurement.
• Expertise in supplier management, risk management, and project execution.
• Knowledge of critical path analysis and project performance reporting.
• Ability to influence project teams, suppliers, customers, and executives without direct authority.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business/Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• CPSM or PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct procurement delivery for Dematic's most intricate, strategic, and high-value customer projects.
• Develop and complete project-specific procurement strategies aligned with objectives and customer requirements.
• Lead procurement outcomes supporting scope, schedule, quality, cost, and commitments.
• Drive accountability with Project Management, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Lead multiple concurrent procurement activities across projects and accounts.
• Balance cost, schedule, risk, supplier performance, and commitments to drive decisions.
• Own procurement risk and issue management and mitigate impacts on outcomes.
