Job Overview

The Strategic Partner Account Manager acts as the primary liaison between Coursera and its industry and university partners, ensuring content performance aligns with business and academic goals. This role involves relationship management, content optimization, and driving engagement and growth, supporting Coursera’s mission to deliver impactful learning experiences.

Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the main contact for assigned partners, understanding their goals and needs.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, aligning content and academic objectives.
  3. Provide data-driven recommendations for content improvements and optimizations.
  4. Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Data Science, and other teams to support and promote partner content.
  5. Deliver regular performance reports highlighting metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
  6. Identify opportunities for partnership expansion, including new content and collaboration models.
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years in partner success, account or relationship management, preferably in edtech or B2B sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage and nurture partner relationships with a focus on content performance.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret performance metrics and inform strategies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of online education content, industry trends, and academic goals.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and data teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple partners simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM and data tools like Salesforce and Tableau.
