Job summary

Uber is seeking a Sr Strategic Operations Associate for the Earner Marketplace & Matching team in the US & Canada Mobility business. You will analyze marketplace dynamics, partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations, and help launch pricing and matching improvements that drive driver and rider outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in Operations, Product Management, Analytics, Strategy, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data and tools (SQL, Python, Excel, BI tools) to derive insights and inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Driver Pricing & Matching: Shape how Driver Pricing and Matching evolve, support launches, and improve marketplace efficiency and reliability.
• Marketplace performance: Understand marketplace health, spot trends, lead investigations, and translate findings into recommendations.
• Data-driven decision making: Use data to unpack dynamics, test hypotheses, evaluate experiments, and anticipate effects across the marketplace.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations to bring capabilities to life and navigate tradeoffs.
