Job summary

Uber seeks a Strategic Operations Manager for the Earner Marketplace & Matching team within the US & Canada Mobility business. You will shape pricing, matching, incentives, and other levers to improve reliability and efficiency, partnering with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations.

You will lead long-term strategy, translate data into recommendations, align stakeholders, and drive cross-functional initiatives from concept to implementation to improve outcomes for drivers and riders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in operations, product operations, analytics, strategy, management consulting, product management, or a similar role.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term strategy for Earner Pricing and Matching, identifying high-impact opportunities to improve marketplace performance.
• Synthesize pricing, matching, incentives, and positioning insights to develop cohesive strategies.
• Lead ambiguous work, frame problems, build business cases, and translate analytics into actionable recommendations.
• Build alignment across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and leadership and influence key decisions.
