Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience in strategic communications or public affairs.
• Experience supporting senior management in the DoD/space domain is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, briefing, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Expand awareness of customer priorities through high-level intel briefings, articles, and scripts.
• Serve as liaison between customer and Office of Public Affairs to coordinate initiatives.
• Monitor policy developments affecting space programs and brief leadership on updates.
• Prepare content for program advocacy, user engagement, and public-facing materials.
• Build connections with communicators across the DoW to amplify publications.
• Lead writer for newsletters, articles, scripts, and congressional testimony.
• Develop tailored briefs and talking points for leadership on request.
• Plan and coordinate events, conferences, and outreach activities.
• Brief customer material for outreach support and program needs.
• Collaborate with government leaders and program managers to guide satellite programs.
