Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Senior Communications Analyst to support DHS ICE through program management, public relations, strategic planning and reporting. The role requires coordinating with the Washington Field Office on-site to produce strategic communications, CoS support, presentation materials, documentation management and related program needs.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain DHS clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of work experience (2 years may be removed for master's).
• US citizenship and ability to attain DHS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership on visual design, marketing material, strategic plan composition and externally facing documentation.
• Collaborate with mission and field office leadership, external organizations, and internal program teams to collect information for timely responses.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to client needs and challenges.
• Provide Chief of Staff (CoS) support to reporting and tasking requirements from headquarters.
• Create deliverables to ensure adherence to team compliance and quality standards.
• Contribute to strategic materials including graphic design, videos, marketing materials, press releases, SOPs, and guidebooks.
• Develop, gather and disseminate information among customers and external stakeholders for the program.
• Analyze changes in requirements with team to propose expedient solutions.
• Translate complex issues into concise narrative using advanced writing skills and craft compelling materials.
• Prepare meeting agendas and create succinct visualizations using PowerPoint.
