GovCIO is seeking a Senior Communications Analyst to support DHS ICE program management, public relations, strategic planning, and reporting from the Los Angeles Field Office on-site. The role involves developing strategic communications, CoS support, and high-quality presentation materials for mission-focused projects.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree with extensive experience, can obtain DHS clearance, and will collaborate with headquarters and field teams to deliver timely,

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of work experience (2 years of experience may be removed for a masters degree)
• Clearance Required: Ability to attain and maintain DHS clearance (US citizenship required)

Responsabilidades

• Provide thought leadership on visual design, marketing material, strategic plan composition and overall externally facing documentation for mission materials.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, such as mission and field office leadership, external organizations, and other internal program teams to collect and compile information to ensure timely responses to requests and ad hoc assignments.
• Facilitate the needs, issues, and challenges faced by the clients; perform gap analysis and recommend solutions.
• Provide Chief of Staff (CoS) support to reporting and tasking requirements needed from headquarters requirements and requests.
• Create deliverables, including artifacts to ensure adherence to team compliance and quality standards.
• Provide input into creating strategic materials including but not limited to; graphic design, videos, marketing materials, press releases, strategic plans, SOPs, and guidebooks
• Develop, gather and disseminate information and documentation among both customers and external stakeholders in support of the program.
• Work with all team members to analyze changes in requirements and recommend the most expedient solutions in a timely manner.
• Leverage advanced writing skills to translate complicated issues from multiple information sources into a clear point of view to create a compelling, concise, and well-written narrative.
• Leverage excellent presentation development skills to prepare meeting agendas and synthesize complex information into succinct visualizations using tools such as PowerPoint.
