• Experience procuring products within assigned commodity areas and negotiating best value.

Responsibilities

• Procure products within assigned commodity areas in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Identify and reduce long lead times through supplier strategies.
• Review POs, status, and reports; take appropriate actions.
• Identify alternate solutions for obsolete components and work with engineering for approval.
• Ensure timely delivery to support production needs.
• Develop new sources of supply to reduce supplier base and optimize costs.
