Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Senior Strategic Communications & Operations Specialist to drive strategic communications and cross-functional operations across Product Management and the organization. You will translate complex priorities into core messaging and executable plans, coordinating stakeholders across multiple functions to ensure timely, aligned communications.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in strategic communications, corporate communications, business communications, communications program management, or related roles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop communications strategies and plans and independently lead cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders, timelines, dependencies, and competing priorities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for synthesizing complex information into clear messaging.
• Strong program and project management fundamentals including planning, risk and dependency management, stakeholder engagement, and follow-through.
• Ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, ask the right questions, and translate objectives into practical plans.
• Experience creating executive-ready presentations and status updates for senior stakeholders.
• Comfort with data, dashboards, and engagement metrics to inform recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic communications plans for high-priority product, business, organizational, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Translate complex product and business information into concise, audience-appropriate messaging for internal teams, customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Lead high-visibility, product-led communications initiatives with coordinated timelines, dependencies, and execution.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Success, Sales, Enablement, Product Marketing, and others to ensure coordinated communications.
• Turn broad strategic direction into structured communications workstreams, milestones, owners, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage cross-functional programs from planning through delivery, identifying risks, gaps, and dependencies, and drive resolution.
• Coordinate stakeholders across functions to maintain momentum as priorities evolve.
• Establish processes, templates, and operating rhythms to improve consistency and visibility of communications work.
• Provide strategic communications support for adjacent initiatives.
• Own internal Product Management engagement and bi-weekly PM team meetings.
