Job summary

Pennoni in Princeton, NJ is seeking an experienced Staff Engineer to contribute to multi-discipline design projects on a full-time basis at our Princeton office. This role offers exposure to private and public site development across markets and hands-on site design work, including grading, utilities, and street design.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil preferred) with 4+ years of professional experience, knowledge of stormwater design, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (Civil preferred).
• 4+ years of professional engineering experience, with land development experience preferred.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform site design work including site layout, grading, utilities (water & sanitary sewer) and street design.
• Perform site evaluations for land development feasibility.
• Assist with stormwater management design and related BMPs, ESC reviews, and H&H modeling as needed.
• Review local ordinances and state regulations.
• Assist with preparation of permit applications, engineering reports, and plans for permitting and construction.
• Contribute to project design team coordination and ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
