Job summary

Arcadis in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Stormwater Resilience Engineer to lead resiliency projects focused on urban drainage, streams and rivers. You will plan, design, and manage construction administration phases, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires a BS in Engineering (Civil/Environmental), 8+ years experience, and a Texas PE license within 6 months.

Qualifications

Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Strong written and oral communication for client engagement.
Experience in stormwater design or related fields; understanding of local market dynamics.

Responsibilities

Lead and support resiliency projects focused on urban drainage systems, streams, and rivers.
Manage planning, design, and construction administration phases with adherence to contracts, codes, and Arcadis standards.
Provide technical leadership as designer leader, QA/QC reviewer, and mentor to junior staff.
Engage with clients to identify needs, deliver tailored solutions, and grow client relationships; contribute to proposals and scopes of work.
Travel for site visits, meetings, safety audits, and oversight of construction as required.
