Job summary
The Environmental Analyst V role sits within Vermont's Department of Environmental Conservation Stormwater Program, leading regulatory and technical reviews of construction and industrial stormwater permits in an assigned district.
You will conduct advanced permit reviews, provide on-site guidance to developers and facilities, ensure compliance through inspections and enforcement, and represent the section in public hearings and legal proceedings.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in an environmental field with 1+ years natural resources experience, or Bachelor's with 2+ years, or 5+ years engineering.
- Knowledge of Vermont stormwater rules, EPA regulations, and CGP/INDC/MSGP permits.
- Experience reviewing complex EPSC and stormwater pollution prevention plans.
- Ability to provide technical design support and education to developers, contractors, and industrial operators.
- Experience conducting field inspections, tracking compliance, and contributing to enforcement actions.
