RK&K is seeking a Licensed Senior Project Engineer for the Transportation Division in Lakeland or Tampa, Florida, focusing on stormwater management, scour, and drainage for transportation projects.

You will plan, design, and implement drainage systems to ensure efficient conveyance and management of stormwater, working with multidisciplinary teams and state/regulatory agencies. The role requires PE licensure in Florida and strong modeling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver stormwater management strategies for transportation projects, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Conduct drainage design activities, analyze existing systems, design new drainage and ditches, and create plans.
• Utilize hydraulic modeling software such as ICPR4, SWMM, and HEC-RAS.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations related to drainage design and stormwater management.
• Prepare permit sketches, construction documents, specifications and cost estimates as needed.
• Perform scour analysis.
• Perform field investigations to collect data, take field measurements, photographs, sketches, and verify surveys.
