Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Stormwater Engineer / Team Lead in the Arlington, VA or Herndon, VA area. You will lead a team of engineers and scientists, directing stormwater planning, design, and implementation projects for federal, state, municipal, and private clients.

You will mentor junior engineers, provide technical direction, manage client communications, and help grow business across Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and beyond.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field.
• Professional engineering license in Virginia or ability to obtain within six months of start date.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, or other drafting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and scientists, guiding them to success.
• Project and technical management for stormwater planning, design, and implementation projects.
• Oversee preparation of project proposals and agreements and ensure design quality.
