Job summary

Artheon in New Jersey seeks a Professional Stormwater Engineer to join our Civil/Municipal team in East Brunswick or Neptune, NJ. You will design land development projects, infrastructure, and municipal systems with a focus on sustainable stormwater solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of civil design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and HEC-RAS, and an EIT certification (PE a plus).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of civil engineering design experience, preferably land development or municipal projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, and stormwater software a plus.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design and drafting of site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities using CAD software.
• Prepare permit applications and ensure regulatory compliance across agencies.
• Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and other disciplines.
• Create reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support designs.
