Job summary

Artheon is seeking a skilled Professional Stormwater Engineer to join our Civil/Municipal team in East Brunswick or Neptune, NJ. This role offers diverse projects in land development, infrastructure design and municipal engineering with a collaborative culture.

The position requires 3–5 years in civil design, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software, and EIT certification. PE license is a plus or willingness to pursue it.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of civil engineering design experience, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS and related software; knowledge of stormwater software is a plus.
• EIT certification required; PE license a plus or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; team-oriented work style.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs including site layouts, grading, drainage and utilities using CAD (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
• Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies.
• Collaborate with project managers, surveyors and other disciplines to deliver tailored solutions.
• Create engineering reports, feasibility studies and computations to support design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).

• Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
• Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HyrdoCAD, HEC-RAS and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
