Artheon in New Jersey seeks a Professional Stormwater Engineer to join our Civil/Municipal team in East Brunswick or Neptune, NJ. You will design land development projects, infrastructure, and municipal systems with a focus on sustainable stormwater solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of civil design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and HEC-RAS, and an EIT certification (PE a plus).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of civil engineering design experience, preferably land development or municipal projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, and stormwater software a plus.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Artheon is seeking a skilled and motivated Professional Stormwater Engineer to join our team in East Brunswick or Neptune, NJ. Responsibilities

• Design and Drafting: Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
• Permitting and Compliance: Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
• Technical Reports: Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HyrdoCAD, HEC‑RAS, and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus.
• Licensing: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or a willingness to obtain it.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
